It's at 183 London Rd, Isleworth near the junction with Syon Lane.

It has its own car park.

There is a lift to all floors - staff will carry your tray if necessary.

There is a code for the toilet which you ask for at the counter.

 

Meet upstairs in this large café which is next to Sainsbury's Local. Afterwards we will go to lunch at one of the many pubs or restaurants nearby.

 

Caffe Nero is by the bus stop at 34 The Broadway.

From EALING BROADWAY station turn left down to the traffic lights. Turn right and it's the second shop on your right

12.30pm  THE CROWN, St Margarets TW1 2NH

Let's go back to this pub with a nice garden. It is situated right next to Marble Hill Park, so you can walk through the park and along the river back to Richmond afterwards if you are feeling energetic.

 

It is at 174 Richmond Road.

BUSES  H37 to St Margarets Station. Walk down Crown Road and it is facing you. Lots of buses from Richmond and Twickenham stop right outside. Get off at Crown Road.

Kew Gardens station was opened by the London and South Western Railway on 1st January 1869. What now stands as The Tap on The Line was originally the station’s Timber Steaming Hall. Later, it became the Buffet Rooms, before it was finally converted into a pub.

 

STATION: KEW GARDENS The cafe/bar is adjacent to the station. Entrance is from the little square in front of the station.

This is a JD Wetherspoon’s pub.  They are renowned for their very reasonably priced food and drinks.  We hope to be sitting at tables near the back.

STATION: EALING BROADWAY.  Turn left out of the station and left again at the main road.  The pub is approx 250 yards on the right at 46-47 The Mall.

Come and have coffee at my home. If you can, bring a few books you have already read and swap them for something different. Any left  over will go to the Oxfam book shop. Only books in good condition please!
