Come to this delightful waterside Cranks-style cafe under the arch of Richmond Bridge.

 

STATION Richmond. 

Turn left out of station into the Quadrant then along George St to the end. Turn left up Hill St to the cinema.. Turn right to the bridge. Go down the steps beside the bridge & you''ll see the entrance.

This cafe is in the Ealing Broadway Centre down the side of Tesco. Loads of chairs so  members can spread out. Very good choice of food if members want food.

Suggest a walk in Walpole Park after.

SUNDAY 16

 

12.15pm  THE CROWN, St Margarets TW1 2NH

 

Let's go back to this pub with a nice garden. It is situated right next to Marble Hill Park, so you can walk through the park and along the river back to Richmond afterwards if you are feeling energetic.

 

It is at 174 Richmond Road.

BUSES  490, R68, R70 to Marble Hill Park/Crown Rd.

           110, H37 to St Margarets Station. Walk down Crown Road and it is facing you. Lots of buses from Richmond and Twickenham stop right outside. Get off at Crown Road.

This café is in Oak Road (the pedestrianised street with the statue of a horse).

 

STATION     Ealing Broadway. Turn left out of station. Walk down to traffic lights. Cross over and turn right. You will soon see Oak Road on your left

Disabled toilet is accessed through the garden - all toilets downstairs

I've booked for 2 tables - one as me & the other as Club West from 12.45. We are limited to 6 people inside but there is no longer any limit outside.

It is in Scotch Common W13 near the roundabout at the end of Pitshanger Lane.

BUSES:  E2 & E9 from Ealing Broadway (Haven Green) pass the pub. Get off at Kent Gardens

This is a JD Wetherspoon’s pub.  They are renowned for their very reasonably priced food and drinks.  We hope to be sitting at a table near the back - 6 of us.

 

STATION: EALING BROADWAY.  Turn left out of the station and left again at the main road.  The pub is approx 250 yards on the right at 46-47 The Mall.

BUSES: 112, 207, 427, 483, 607, E11 stop in The Mall at Ealing Broadway station stop (NB If coming from Acton that stop is almost outside the pub)
